CONTINUOUS FILAMENT EXTRUSION LINE
Manufacturer of the line: Barmag (Germany).
COTTON SPINNING MILL
Production of blended yarn based on fibers: cotton, flax, polyester. The mill also produces nonflammable yarn made of Conex meta-aramid fibers.
PREPREG PRODUCTION LINE
The facilities allow a uniform application of polymer thermoreactive binder onto fabric – the prepregs are further used for body armor helmet forming.
The prepreg production line can also be used for application of a breather waterproof membrane onto fabric. The membrane fabrics are used for production of jackets, windbreakers, raincoats, etc.
WEAVING FACTORY, FABRIC DYEING
Production of ballistic fabric made of para-aramid threads, production of nonflammable fabrics made of meta-aramid yarn. The fabrics are produced using Dornier weaving machines (Germany).
The weaving factory has a fabric dyeing shop where the fabrics can be dyed either in one-color, or in various patterns (camouflage). The dyed fabrics are used for special and military uniform.
MOLD PRESSING SHOP FOR PRODUCTION OF
COMPOSITE BODY ARMOR HELMETS AND ARMOR
The shop has a designing department being its integral part
where design and development of body armor helmets is
It is also the responsibility of the designing department to
create plastic models of helmets using 5-axis milling machines.
Fabrication of punches and dies for direct pressing of helmets.
CERAMIC ARMOR PLATE HIGH TEMPERATURE
Sinter ceramic composition: В2С4 (boron carbide); SiC (silicon
carbide); Al2O3 (aluminum oxide). The shop comprises an assembly
department for armor plates of protection class 6 according to
Ukrainian standard or class IV according to NIJ 0101.04 US standard.
MECHANICAL SHOP FOR PRODUCTION OF ARMOR
PLATES MADE OF ARMOR STEEL
The mechanical shop for production of armor plates comprises
heat treatment and assembly shops.
SUPERSONIC PLASMA SPRAYING SHOP
Here armor steels can be coated with ceramic-forming powders
WC+Al2O3 or ВС+SiC, other compounds are also available.
Spraying of a surface layer coating made of oxide or carbide powders onto armor steel hardens the surface layer thus
increasing its protection level to class 6 according to Ukrainian standard or class IV according to NIJ 0101.04 US standard.
